Title IX and Sexual Misconduct

GPSS is working to address issues of Title IX and Sexual Misconduct. Efforts have included speaking with the 2011Advisory Committee on Campus Climate, participating in the 2013 Campus Sexual Climate Assessment and nominating members to the University-Wide Committee.

In 2014, GPSS successfully advocated for the creation of the Graduate & Professional Student Title IX Committee, which engages in a sustained conversation across schools and with the administration about how to improve Title IX policies.

GPSS Advocacy will continue to make this a priority issue during the 2018-2019 academic year. If you have questions or thoughts regarding these issues, please email the Advocacy Chair.
